Sony has unveiled its new 5.1 channel home cinema system, HT-S40R, a new soundbar that fits your home. It is a slim and elegant designed soundbar that comes with Dolby Digital Technology and wireless sub and rear speakers that produce immersive cinematic surround sound.
With the new HT-S40R 5.1ch soundbar, you can set up your home theatre system with minimum wires. With a wireless amplifier that powers the rear speakers, there are no wires between the front and rear to get in your way. The soundbar comes with a subwoofer and two discrete wireless rear speakers capable of delivering cinema-quality sound without clutter and complexity.
With a total power output of 600W, the 5.1 channel real surround sound and Dolby Audio technology provides a sense of realism and allowing every small detail coming from the speakers.
The Sony HT-S40R features a three-channel bar speaker, rear speakers and a subwoofer that work concurrently to give a real 5.1ch surround sound system. Even with fewer wires, you can send audio to the home theatre system wirelessly with a Sony BRAVIA TV or any Bluetooth wireless connection enabled TV that supports Bluetooth A2DP (A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).
Talking about the design, The HT-S40R is a sleek, compact soundbar, unobtrusive subwoofer and wireless rear speakers which fit perfectly with your TV. Furthermore, the compact soundbar and rear speakers can be wall-mounted to fit neatly in your room. The wireless amplifier can be placed flat on a table shelf or wall-mounted.
The HT-S40R is easy to connect with either HDMI or with a single Optical Inputs cable. Even you can use Bluetooth to stream music onto the soundbar. There is a USB port where you can insert your flash drive to play your favourite music instantly.
The new Sony HT-S40R home theatre system will be available across all Sony Center, E-commerce portals, www.ShopatSC.com portal and major electronic stores across India from 9th September onwards for ₹28,990/-.
