10Times hosts India’s first Food and Beverage Virtual Tradeshow on FLOOR

10Times has successfully powered the nation’s first virtual F&B Tradeshow and conference. This event comes at a time when the lockdown has wholly washed the modes of physical engagements and stopped possible networking avenues for businesses across the country. Taking advantage of the video conferencing solution, it got 100+ exhibitors to assemble and engage with 3000 participants across India virtually.

India’s first-ever virtual F&B tradeshow & conference gained positive response from across all segments of the industry. FLOOR, recreated the experience of an in-person event by giving a welcome reception to a networking lounge. Visitants got a chance to listen to notable speakers on the stage while hopping in-and-out of meeting with exhibitors in their private booths. The popular feature of this the tradeshow is that it could take a table with colleagues from the industry and virtual platform appeared to be its round networking tables.

The visitor also took an opportunity to listen to a line-up of speakers, from big food corporations like CG Group to young upcoming food brands. The event opened with a keynote by Kriti Malhotra, India’s first lady certified sommelier and a top 10 change maker women of the country by CNBC. It was then followed by a significant discussion with Vivek Kapoor, Co-founder of Dineout.

Speaking on occasion, the Mr. Atul Todi, CEO & Co-founder, 10times said, “We hosted the first Virtual Tradeshow as a challenge. We wanted to show that business can happen virtually and we can bring people together. Organisers were not convinced and wanted a proof-of-concept. Therefore, this event was put together as a way for them to visualise how they can incorporate virtual & hybrid event in their future plans.”

Moving forward, Mr. Mayank Chowdhary, Co-founder, 10times said, “We saw a positive response and a massive surge in requests since we registered our presence online through FLOOR. With the aim to bring the community together and allow unlocking of opportunities through events, we are thrilled to be able to successfully execute a 100% virtual trade show & conference from India.”

This global pandemic has placed the trillion-dollar event industry at stake, and single-session webinars cannot address the needs. FLOOR opens the much-needed option for event planners world-over to leverage their brands virtually, in parallel to their physical events in due time. This state-of-art virtual technology presents a safe and digital real-time communication between singular and multiple parties without jeopardising on the privacy and ethical concerns of the end-user.

To conclude, Atul Todi added, “Globalisation would continue via virtual, until we have a vaccine and the worlds goes back to normal. It’s time for the economies around the world to revive.”
