Beyerdynamic has unveiled its third generation of Tesla Hi-Fi headphones – T1 and T5. These two new headphones offer audiophiles optimized acoustics and a design that’s yet another step closer to perfection. The design quality of the T1 and T5 headphones was also identified by the German Design Award 2021, who honoured them as winners in the category “Excellent Product Design – Entertainment”.
The T1 and T5 headphones have impressed with their precise but transparent sound that is underpinned by beyerdynamic’s Tesla technology. The third generation of these headphones is taking the experience to the next level of listening.
The T1 headphones, with their open design, offer a genuinely three-dimensional sound experience. These are possible because of the Tesla sound transducers. With this third generation, the spatial sound gets a gentle bass boost for a warmer sound experience.
The T5 are closed high-end headphones for a majestic sound experience. The users can fully enjoy their music, as background noises are reduced. Once again, the transducers are arranged in their classical tilt for a clear and natural sound. This generation enhances the sound experience yet again, with an incredibly authentic reproduction of sounds, tuned for high-end realism, especially in the upper mids. Both voices and instruments are now clearly and distinctly audible.
The T1 and T5 headphones are powered by transducers based on beyerdynamic’s Tesla technology. Developed and manufactured at the beyerdynamic headquarter in Heilbronn, the Tesla transducers produce high sound reproduction even if the source is a less than perfect music player. Both models are Hi-Res Audio certified and guarantee a high-resolution sound playback.
Talking about Design and Build, in both headphones, it meets high-end materials and design. The T1 and T5 both have an anodized, brushed aluminium; their headbands are covered with Alcantara, which gives them an exceptional elegance. Both T1 and T5 have earpads that are incredibly comfortable to wear.
